Many people in the UK struggle to find an NHS dentist taking new patients, and that feels worst when you are already in pain. You still have options.
NHS urgent care. You do not need to be registered with a practice to get urgent NHS dental care. In England you can contact NHS 111, who can direct you to an urgent dental service. Waits can be long and appointments limited, so it helps to call early in the day.
Private practices. Many private practices see emergency patients without registration. Prices vary, so always ask for the full cost before you go.
